Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to the Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  We will be featuring December's SOTM, Mad About You, a set of 14 stamps.  If you have come here from Kristine’s Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  If you get lost along the way, you’ll find the complete list of participating consultants here.

This month we have 56 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's SOTM and other great CTMH products on their blogs. This is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

I have fell in love with the Designer Rhinestone Brads and find myself adding them to almost all of my cards.  They pack an awesome amount of bling in one little brad!  All supplies are by Close To My Heart.

S1112 Mad About You Stamp Set
1385 White Daisy Cardstock
1272 Cranberry Cardstock
Z2116 Cranberry Ink Pad
Z1103 Cranberry Grosgrain Ribbon
Z2163 Bitty Sparkles
Z1360 Designer Rhinestone Brads

I cut the hearts with the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge in White Daisy and then stamped the coordinating stamp in Cranberry Ink.  I added a pop dot for dimension and mounted onto Cranberry Cardstock.  I made my own B&T paper by stamping the swirl design, that is included in the stamp set, onto White Daisy cardstock with Cranberry ink.   Added a little bling and called it done.  A quick and simple card for Valentine’s Day.  (It was really hard to write that, considering Christmas has yet to arrive!)

Now "Hop" on over to Casandra’s Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas! Remember, the December SOTM is only available until December 31,2011.

In the spirit of entering challenges, this card was based on the sketch this week at FreshlyMade Sketches.  Check out their site for more inspiration! Here is the original sketch design:

Holiday Wishes Peace on Earth Card

This is my entry for the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge #217.  You are probably thinking….didn’t I just see this card???  I did post a very similar card yesterday.  This card was actually made with my Oops ornament.  I cut the ornament out with the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge and then stamped in sky blue ink.  I then went over the image with a two-way glue pen and applied Prisma Glitter.    While it had some shimmer, it was just not what I was looking for yesterday.  The glitter was a little loose, so I went over the image with Liquid Glass to seal in the glitter and give it a little more dimension.  Today, I went in to start on the Mojo Monday sketch….and there sat the ornament, just begging to be put on a card!  So, the colors and stamp are the same as yesterday….but different techniques and a different sketch.   The ornament might not have had enough bling for the card yesterday, but is just right for today’s sketch.  All supplies by Close To My Heart except where noted.

Holiday Wishes Sparkle Card

November is quickly coming to a close.  This is my last week as a Guest Designer at H2H Challenges and your last few days to purchase the Holiday Wishes stamp set.  This has quickly become my favorite stamp set, resulting in numerous quick and easy Christmas cards with WOW factor!  All supplies by Close To My Heart except where noted:

Z1686 Cricut Art Philosophy Collection
X7145B Believe Level 2 Paper Packet
1385 White Daisy Cardstock
CC1015 Holiday Wishes Stamp Set
Z2194 Sky Ink Pad
Z891 Versamark Ink Pad
Z673 White Daisy Embossing Powder
Z134 Prisma Glitter
Retired ¾” White Grosgrain Ribbon
Die-namics Icicle Border by MFT

Design Tip for making the glitter ornaments.
1.    Cut Ornament Shape with Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge
2.    Stamp Ornament from Holiday Wishes stamp set in Sky ink
3.    Run stamped ornament shape through Xyron Machine to apply an even layer of adhesive.
4.    Pour Prisma glitter over the top.
5.    Tap off excess powder.

If you do not own a Xyron machine, you can also use liquid glue or tape adhesive.  The Xyron machine puts on a smooth layer of adhesive quickly.  You can easily crank out numerous ornaments for a mass production in very little time.

Hooray Bouquet Card

The Challenge this week at Heart 2 Heart Challenges is to use a time theme.  I created this card to take “time” to smell the flowers.  The flowers were all cut with the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge and then stamped with the Hooray Bouquet coordinating stamp set.  The stamp set comes marked with the correct Cricut dial size on the stamp carrier sheet.  You can always cut your images in a smaller size and stamp over the whole image with one of the background images as well.  All supplies are by Close To My Heart except where noted.

Cricut Art Philosophy Snowflake Card

I love how this card turned out!  This card is based on the sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches.  The artwork on their site is so inspiring, you need to check it out!  While this card has many layers, it came together quickly with the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge.  All of the snowflake layers were cut with the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.  This makes this a very doable card for making in mass quantities.  All supplies are by Close To My Heart, except where noted.
