Pemberley Birthday Card

Another sneak peek of new products to come in February!  The Pemberley Paper Packet is showcased with this card.  The packet comes with six designs and I have managed to use five of them on this card.  I love this paper pack!  All supplies by Close To My Heart.

X7148B Pemberley Paper Packet (avail 2/1/12)
Z1375 Kraft Cardstock
C1494 Card Word Puzzle (avail 2/1/12)
D1514 Just A Number (avail 2/1/12)
Z2111 Chocolate Ink
Z2140 Outdoor Denim Ink
Z2240 Outdoor Denim Reinker
Z1707 Bitty Opaques Pearls (avail 2/1/12)
Z1732 Color Ready Seam Binding (avail 2/1/12)
Z679 Liquid Glass

Design Tips-I applied Liquid Glass to the center of the flower and then added the Bitty Pearls in the center to add more dimension.

I cut my seam binding ribbon to length and then placed in a baggie with about 5 drops of reinker and kneaded until uniformly inked.  I then dried with my heat gun.  You could always let air dry as well.  The heat gun works well for us inpatient sorts!

I distressed the edges of all of the pattern paper with Outdoor Denim ink.  I distressed the Kraft cardstock with Chocolate Ink.

I have entered this card in the following challenges-

Celebrate the Occasion-Use Polka Dots
Crafty Sentiments-Anything Goes
Papertake Weekly- Buttons, Bows, Bling & Blooms
Shopping Our Stash-Border Detail
(My Card has as scalloped border)
