Dynamic Duos #20

Time for another Black Tie Event at Dynamic Duos! Our color duo this week is Lucky Limeade & Basic Black.  The Dessert Option is to use a Halloween theme! I had Lucky Limeade in my stash...Pear would be a close match from Close To My Heart.

I used a variety of products to create my card.  The Eek! sentiment is cut with the Cricut Artiste cartridge.  The sentiment is perfect for me....as I am not fond of spiders!  I added a little bling to the Eek sentiment with Smooch Spray.  Hard to tell in the photo though! My spider web was cut with a Memory Box die.  The Cricut Artiste cartridge also features a spider web.  Considering my Memory Box die has never been used....I went the die route.  I am working on actually using the supplies I have, vs. collecting them! Here is a look at the Halloween images that are available on the Artiste cartridge-

My Lucky Limeade paper was embossed with a polka dot embossing folder and I embossed the black with a chevron pattern.  The ribbon trim and bling spider are by Making Memories.

I have entered my card in the following challenges:
D.L. Art-Halloween for a Child
Divas by Design-For a Child
Pile It On-Pattern Paper
Scrap Creations-Ribbon, Die Cut, Embossing
Tuesday Throwdown-You're a Gem
Use It Tuesday-Anything Goes-(Everything is hoarded, the embellishments are many years old!)

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  1. Good job on trying to use what you have instead of collecting. I am trying (yes, really) to do this right now. It's hard to resist a lot of gorgeous crafting items out there, but of course my #1 go-to is, and will always be, CTMH! Cute card, and yes I say "Eek", too. :)
