The Paper Players is having a CAS Challenge featuring Silver or Gold. My card is about as CAS as they come. One Cricut cut paired with a bling bow and a few brads to balance it out. I love the script phrases on the Artiste cartridge. The Merry Christmas Saying will totally stand on it's own for a Christmas card. If stamping is not your thing, then this card is for you!
I created my card with help from the Cricut Design Studio software. You would also be able to do the same thing with Cricut Craft Room or a Gypsy. I used the George cartridge for my rectangle and then flipped the Merry Christmas phrase from the Artiste cartridge. If you are using solid cardstock, you would be fine without flipping your image. When using white cored cardstock, I prefer to flip the image when cutting. By flipping the image, you do not have to worry about any white lines showing from an imperfect cut.
I kept the inside clean as well, stamped my saying in Cranberry ink to match my cardstock and ran a piece of Silver Shimmer Trim across the bottom.
