Merry Monday #43

This is the last challenge of the year for Merry Monday!  Hopefully by now you have a Christmas card stash just waiting to be mailed out!  I know I will start mailing to my international friends this week and my American friends next week!  If you have yet to start your Christmas cards, your time is running out!  If you got a late start this year, be sure and check back with Merry Monday in January, for a whole new round of Christmas card challenges!  Here is the original sketch this week-

Dynamic Duos is having a great color duo this week, Midnight Muse and Silver.  I went with Outdoor Denim by Close To My Heart and Silver Glitter paper by American Crafts.

I added a small strip of glitter paper on the inside for a little added bling.

Design Tip-If you plan on stamping on glitter paper, I recommend using Pigment Inks.  Dye Inks just fade into the glitter.  I had thought I could emboss my sentiment.....but my glitter started melting prior to my embossing powders.  The pigment inks worked great, just allow a little time for the sentiment to dry!

All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:
B1412 Perfect Fit-Holidays
Christmas Sentiments-MFT
1385 White Daisy Cardstock
1275 Outdoor Denim Cardstock
Silver Glitter Paper-American Crafts
Z2502 Enchantment Pigment Inks
Z1752 Clear Sparkles
Retired Grosgrain Ribbon

I have also entered my card in the following challenges:
Catered Crop-Silver or Gold
Creative Inspirations Paint-Anything Goes
Heart 2 Heart-Glitter It Up
Hiding in my Craft Room-Christmas
Stampin Sisters In Christ-Christmas
The Crafty Pad-Add some Glitter
The Hybrid Chick-Winter

Be sure and check out the creations by the other Design Team members, they are sure to be amazing!
You have until Monday at Noon (PDT) to link up your card at Merry Monday.

Don't forget, today is the last day of my Black Friday-Cyber Monday Sale!  Take 20% off all Close To My Heart orders placed via e-mail.  You can combine the 20% discount with the Capture the Date, Capture the Savings promotion as well!  When your order is received via e-mail, I will forward you a PayPal invoice reflecting your discount.  If you do not have a PayPal account, you can pay via credit card without opening an account!  Contact me with any questions!
