Merry Monday #49

We are back with a sketch challenge this week at Merry Monday!  I decided to create a rustic Christmas Card with a country feel.  Here is a look at the original sketch design-

My wreath was created with the Remarkable Wreath stamp set which recently retired.  This was such a popular stamp set, that I stashed away a few sets for future orders.  If you would like to add one to your collection, send me an e-mail. My hemp twine started out as a natural color which sorda clashed with my grey tones.  I ran my Whisper pigment ink over the hemp to give it a slightly gray tone to match my card.  I inked up a single strand of the hemp with Barn Red ink for the bow on my wreath.  My decorative shape was cut with the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.

  4. Oh joy! I had two cards left from this set that jad just a teeny line of ink and I was trying to decide how to save the cards as they are still so pretty. Cut it out in that cool shape and that should do it! Plus, I love the houndstooth and the hemp etc. which will make it all new and rustic! Thanks so much for the idea!!!!! This is so pretty. Some how I ended up buying two sets!
