Freshly Made Sketches #82

Jen B is our hostess this week at Freshly Made Sketches!  She has created a great sketch to get you started on your creation.  I seem to be in the Western themed card making mode, so I am back with another western card.  The Dakota paper line by Close To My Heart is perfect for all your western themed projects.  Here is the original sketch to get you started:

The sentiment on the front of my card is stamped on a frame that I cut out with the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge.  My horseshoe is cut with an MFT die out of silver glitter paper.  I then added the nails with black enamel accents.

I carried the horseshoe theme over to the inside of my card.  My horseshoe is stamped in slate ink.  My sentiment is stamped with black pigment ink and then embossed with clear powder.

All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:
Z1686 Cricut Art Philosophy Collection
Wild Wild West Stamp Set by MFT
X7157B Dakota Paper Pack
Z1789 Silver Glitter Paper
Z2173 Slate Ink
Z2503 Basics Pigment Inks
Z821 Clear Embossing Powder
Retired Black Grosgrain Ribbon
Black Enamel Accents by Inkessetials

I have entered my card in the following challenges:
Craft Room Challenge-So Sentimental
Tuesday Throwdown-Focus on the Sentiment
Pile It On-Embossing

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope to see your take on the sketch this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
