Merry Monday #66

Once again the weekend has flown by and brings us to Monday morning! I am totally not a morning person and about the only good thing I can say about Mondays....is the Merry Monday Sketch Challenge!  Here is a look at this week's sketch-

For a different look for your banners...do not adhere them all the way down on your card.  Before applying adhesive, I roll the end of my banners on my paper piercing tool to give them a little lift.  I then apply adhesive only 3/4s of the way down the banner.  This gives a little added dimension to your card with no pop dots needed!

I used one of the subtle prints in the paper pack to line the inside of my card.

All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:
D1520 Ornamental Cheer Stamp Set
Clearly Sentimental About Christmas Stamp Set-MFT
Signature Christmas Paper Pack by My Mind's Eye
X5642 Cocoa Cardstock
X5666 Twilight Cardstock
Z2500 Whimsy Pigment Inks
Z821 Clear Embossing Powder
Fishtail Dies-MFT

I have entered my card in the following challenges:
CHNC-Use a die cut or punch
Cuttlebug Mania-Christmas in June (used my Cuttlebug for cutting my dies)

Be sure and stop by the other Merry Maker's blogs to see their creations!
Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I adore the colors and patterns you have used for your Christmas card, Allisa! The awesome thing about this flag and banner trend is how wonderfully they lend themselves to our patterned paper stashes! Thanks for the inspiration!! xxoo Darnell

  8. Allisa -- That's one of my favorite Christmas paper packs (MME). Blue and brown winter paper is SO hard to find.
