Freshly Made Sketches #106

Amy has a great sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches! The sketch was a perfect fit for me to break into the new to me Giddy Up papers by Carta Bella.  You all know I have a great fondness for western themed cards! Here is the original sketch design for you to create with:

I have a ton of Thank You cards to send out.  I have been going through a huge transition in my life, which has left me with little time for blogging as of late.  Thanks so much to my friends both online and off that helped give me the courage to leave an abusive relationship.  I am forever grateful for your support.  I know many of you have sent e-mails inquiring about my absence from blogland.....I greatly appreciate your concern!  The blog community is an awesome place to be a part of!  I do hope to be back to blogging on a regular basis.  Moving my craft room and getting it set back up has been a daunting task....which is still a work in progress!  Thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers, they are greatly appreciated.

All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope to see your creation in the gallery this week at Freshly Made Sketches!

Allisa, your card is beautiful. ;-) I know we're only acquaintances in blogland and we don't really know each other. I have no idea what you're going through, but my heart goes out to you, and I just wanted to send you a virtual hug and best wishes. I wish you every good thing in life! ((hugs))

This is so striking Allisa! The rich colors and peek of paisley are fantastic. Not to mention that big sentiment!

Wow, I love this card. It really caught my eye and I love the little peak of what you did to the inside of your card as well.

Beautiful card and love that paper! Congrats on your courage I know it's taking to make the move you are making. I've been there a few years ago and it was very hard to do it, but once I did, I felt such a huge relief and load off of my heart and mind. You go girl and be happy!

I'm so sorry you've had to go through your ordeal. I hope things are much brighter for you now. I've missed your cards but totally understand your absence. This card is so beautiful. The blue is my absolute favorite shade and the paisley is a perfect match for it. Sending some extra hugs your way. :-)

Allisa, I just hunted you down like so many on here have, I am sure. I finally found my answer about where you have been. I am keeping you in my prayers and hoping that you can find comfort and peace in your love of papercrafting. I can only imagine what an amazing feat it was to move your stuff! Looking forward to more stunning creations from you in the near future! Take care, my CTMH sister! The crafting world is not nearly as bright without you in it right now!
