Freshly Made Sketches #254

Made it back to the craft table this weekend! I created a super clean card for the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge this week.  My card is super clean with a lot of bling!  More bling than the photos can bring you!  I cut my snowflake die three times in Sea Glass cardstock and layered them together to give  more of a chipboard feel. I added a little bling button to the center of my snowflake.  Please note, my button is stitched.  My OCD does not allow for unstitched buttons.  I cringe when I see naked buttons on cards.  I love buttons.....but they so need to be dressed, a little stitching goes a long way!

My sentiments are inked with Sea Glass pigment ink.  I love, love, love the creamy smoothness of the pigment inks.  I know you have heard me rave about the pigment inks by Close To My Heart in the past.  If you have yet to take the plunge, you can buy the Color of the Year, Sea Glass in a mini pigment ink pad.  This is the perfect time to try out the pigment inks without committing to buying a whole set.

All supplies by Close to My Heart, except where noted:

D1694 Very Merry Stamp Set
B1412 Perfect Fit-Holidays Stamp Set-Retired
1385 White Daisy Cardstock
X5789 Sea Glass Cardstock
Z2507 Sea Glass Pigment Ink
Z4003 Thin Cuts-Snowflakes
Fishtail Dies by MFT
Glitter Paper by American Crafts
Bling button-Retired

My card is based on the sketch challenge this week at Freshly Made Sketches-

I have also entered my card in the following challenges:

I love your card! And I do agree with you about stitching on buttons! It doesn't take a minute, just makes so much difference and really finishes it off. Thank you for joining us at Winter Wonderland this time. Good luck and we look forward to seeing you next time. Christine DT xx
