Mojo Monday #468

It is contest week at Mojo Monday...we all need more stamps, so head over and join in on the fun!  I am still stamping away with the Monstrous Halloween Bundle and Jeepers Creepers papers.  Love those little monsters and the coordinating dies make adding them to projects easy peasy!  I was obviously in need of some crafting therapy....as this card is all about the details.

I added a stamped sentiment and layers to my metal tag die.  I could not bring myself to cut my ribbon, so I twirled the ribbon and left it as is on the card.  Once again, the googlie eyes make a presence.  Love the movement they add to my card.  A little bit of bling was added by cutting my borders with black glitter paper.  I created "goo" along the bottom edge of my card with the Die-namics Icicle Border die....when cut with black glitter paper.....it easily passes as "goo".  My monster is popped up to jump off the page!

I added more bling to the inside by carrying over the glitter paper to the inside as well.  I am still working on my camera issues, so sadly you can not see all the crisp details.  My card is based on the Mojo Monday #468 sketch.

CAS #192

I created a super clean card for the CAS(E) this Sketch Challenge this week.  I wasn't sure it was going to have enough layers for my liking, but I really like the end result.  I love the card in person, the photo....not so much.  I think I am going to have to find another camera.  Mine appears to be on it's last leg.  I have cleaned it and it seems to have one problem after another.  So sadly, you guys are not able to view the sharp crispness of my card.  In person, the sentiment is crisp....on the photo is appears to fade into the background.  I love making cards....editing the photos, not so much!  The card is super simple to  make and could easily use up many of those paper scraps you have been hoarding.  The stitched dies really add the finishing touch.  Here is the sketch my card is based on-

I added a stitched layer to the inside as well.

MFT Sketch Challenge #300

Sharing a little snow with the rest of the world!  It actually snowed most of the day here, so winter is quickly approaching....   I love the snow.....as long as I am sitting at home watching it out the window, not when I have to drive in it.  I created my card for the MFT Sketch Challenge #300. I added lots of little details to the card, which might not be visible in the photo.  I started out with a rather plain card....and just kept adding to it.  I finally decided I had just the right amount of bling!    The clean card was totally fine, but I love the bling version more.  I sprayed shimmer paint on my white background circle for a fresh snow effect and added bitty sparkles to the snowflakes on my pattern paper. My snowflake is once again layered for added dimension.

A scrap piece of pattern paper finishes out the inside.
