Freshly Made Sketches #392

Another masculine card for Father's Day. I found this stamp in a clearance bin....and it is perfect for the man who has stepped up to the plate and been a father to my youngest son. I greatly appreciate the time and patience he has shown my son.  The stamp could have easily been a photo image of them on a hunting outing.  My card is based on the sketch challenge this week at Freshly Made Sketches, with a very heavy emphasis from Jen's card!

I stamped my image in pigment ink....I love the creamy smoothness you get from stamping with pigment ink. I live in a dry climate, so the ink dries almost as quickly as dye ink.  If you are in a more humid climate, you would need to set with a heat gun or emboss the image.  I added a bit of twine to add a more rustic feel to my wood tones.

What a great Father's Day Card!! This immediately took me back to childhood when my dad would go hunting. Love the image panel on the wood background. Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!
