CAS(E) this Sketch #355

Hello everyone!  Excited to announce that I am a Guest Designer over at CAS(E) this Sketch this week! I have always been a huge fan, so was super excited to be asked to play along.  My card is slightly out of my element!  My normal style is clean with lots of layers.  I managed to keep the layers, but the splatters almost got the best of me! I have the same struggles with watercolors.  I so love the look, but the "must have it perfect" syndrome about does me in. Obviously there is no such thing as perfect splatters...but I still need them in just the right spot AND just the right color!  Even when I thought I had the color just the time I got to the photograph, they had changed ever so slightly!  Here is a look at the sketch, so you can come play along-

My floral image and banner were stamped in Intense Black ink and then colored with Copics. I popped them up on a stitched die cut panel.  My splatter was created with Thistle reinker, lightly sprayed with water.  A few bitty sparkles finish it off.

All supplies by Close To My Heart, except where noted:
G1196 Spruced Up Cardmaking Kit
1385 White Daisy Cardstock
Z4189 Intense Black Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad
Copics-R24, R27, V12, V15, G24, G43
Z2740 Thistle Reinker
Z1263 Bitty Sparkles
Stitched Die-MFT

I have entered my card in the following challenges:
Allsorts-Say It with Flowers
Crafty Cardmakers-Anything Goes
Paper Funday Challenges-Anything Goes w/optional twist of Friendship
Penny Black-Make it Feminine
Word Art Wednesday-Anything Goes

Thanks so much for stopping by!
