Better with Age...

I am normally a many layers type card maker, but sometimes simplicity totally works! It definitely works well for cards that are going in the mail! This card is about as close to a one layer card as I get. I started with a Party Time Picture My Life card, which I cut down to card size and matted with Lagoon cardstock. The original card, said Celebration in a banner strip over the present....which really did not work for me. I added a Birthday Wishes sticker to change out the sentiment. This card features a little humor from the On Your Birthday stamp set.

The birthday sentiment carries over to the inside of the card. I save pretty much all of my paper scraps! They are the perfect addition to add to the inside of cards.
